After shooting a bit with the SMC 55mm 1.8 on the A99, I found the images produced on the A99 sensor to be much, much above my expectations. I am so into shooting with vintage lens, even more, now.
So for today, I have mated the A99 with my silver Helios 44m! And as expected, it works perfectly! Well, almost, the focussin ring on it is loose.

After taking this picture, I attached the vertical grip to the A99 and I found the camera balanced so much better!
Wife and mother in law is making Hari Raya cookies today, and I will documenting it with this set up!
